Courses for ERASMUS or exchange students

These courses are aimed at ERASMUS students and students bound by international agreements with the University of León who wish to consolidate and / or increase their knowledge of Spanish.

Intensive Courses

19 January to 30 January 2026

Three-month Courses

Winter: 7 January to 17 March 2026
Spring: 18 March to 5 June 2026
Autumn: 8 September to 18 December 2025

Reinforcement Courses

20 October to 18 December 2025
2 March to 12 May 2025

Intensive Courses

  • Duration: 40 face-to-face teaching hours.
  • Timetable: 9.30 – 14.00.
  • Levels:  beginner, intermediate and advanced. Taking a test level is needed if you are not a beginner.
  • Credit recognition: 3 ECTS credits. The conditions for credit recognition are 80% of attendance to classes and a minimum final grade of 5 out of 10 (Pass) in the course evaluation.
  • Price:   free for Erasmus students and students from partner universities.

After these free intensive courses, the University of León´s International Relations Unit organizes an event called Orientation Week, which involves compulsory attendance.

Three-month Courses

  • Duration:
    • Autumn Term: 320 face-to-face teaching hours (280 class hours and 40 hours of complementary activities).
    • Winter Term: 240 face-to-face teaching hours (200 class hours and 40 hours of complementary activities).
    • Spring Term: 240 face-to-face teaching hours (200 class hours and 40 hours of complementary activities).

  • Timetable: 9.30 – 14.00 .
  • Levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced and superior.
  • Credit recognition:
    • Autumn Term: 25 ECTS credits.
    • Winter Term: 20 ECTS credits.
    • Spring Term: 20 ECTS credits
    The conditions for credit recognition are 80% of attendance to classes and a minimum final grade of 5 out of 10 (Pass) in the course evaluation.

  • Price:
    • First term: €1,960 (320 hours).
    • First and second term: €3,115 (560 hours).
    • Three terms: €4115 (800 hours).

Reinforcement Courses

  • Timetable: 2 hours twice a week. To be set by students and teachers.

  • Price: €240.
