Three-month Courses

These courses comprise 240 face-to-face teaching hours (200 class hours and 40 hours of face-to-face complementary activities) and are offered at a wide range of levels. On the first day of the course students take a placement test to determine their level of Spanish.

Autumn Term

2024: 7 October to 18 December

Winter Term

2024: 8 January to 15 March
2025: 7 January to 17 March

Spring Term

2024: 18 March to 5 June
2025: 18 March to 4 June

Credit recognition

  • 20 ECTS credits
  • Conditions for credit recognition
    • 80% of attendance to classes
    • a minimum final grade of 5 out of 10 (Pass) in the course evaluation

  • 1 Term: €1,400 (240 hours, 20 ECTS credits)
  • 2 Terms: €2,550 (480 hours, 40 ECTS credits)
  • 3 Terms: €3,500 (720 hours, 60 ECTS credits)

    • Visit to the eleventh-century Basilica of Saint Isidore [San Isidoro]

    • Visit to the sixteenth-century pilgrim hostel of Saint Mark [San Marcos] or to MUSAC, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castile and León
    • Visit to the León Museum
    • A full-day excursion to a destination outside the Province of León
    • A full-day excursion to a destination in the Province of León
  • Certificate of completion of the course
