Frequently asked questions

1. How are the online courses at the Language Center taught?

Online teaching is provided through a videoconference system in real time (through meet hangouts) that allows constant interaction with the teacher and the rest of the students who participate in the group. With this system, we guarantee the same quality and dynamism as in face-to-face classes; it will be like having the teacher in your own home.

2. So can I speak to my teacher in real time?

Yes. Both with the teacher and with the rest of the students in your group.

The class is taught in a "room" where the teacher and the students see and listen to each other as if you were in a real class.

3. How can I know what level I can enroll in?

If you are a student who has previously been enrolled at the Language Center, the teachers will tell you your level.

If you are a new student, we will do a free online test to check your level.

4. How many hours does the course have?

The quarterly courses are 200 hours, which are divided into 150 hours of virtual teaching and 50 hours of individual work tutored and evaluated by your teacher.

5. Can I adapt the class schedule to my needs?

The schedule is determined for each group, based on the needs or interests of the students.

We try to adapt the schedules to the situation of the students. In the event that there are students within the same group who are in different time slots, we look for options that allow them to attend, including personal tutoring when necessary.

6. Are the contents and subjects the same as in a classroom course?

Yes, the contents are exactly the same as in face-to-face teaching, with the same subjects and the same quality teaching.

7. What materials are used in class?

Teachers use different resources at their disposal to teach the classes: book and / or self-made materials, as well as technological resources available in this type of training (chats, online videos, Jamboard ...).

8. What is the evaluation system like?

60% of the grade will be continuous assessment and the remaining 40% will be a final exam or project.

9. Will I receive the same certificate?

Yes, you will receive the same certificate for the hours studied in the same way as if you had done them in person at our Center.

10. Will I receive the same credits (ECTS)?

Yes, the certificate is the same, with the same number of recognized ECTS credits.

11. I am an exchange student: Will my university receive the same information and with the same value through the ULE's International Relations Office as if the training were in person?
